Maybe there is some kind of...electric helmet? You put it on the head of a Pokémon, slide the tm/hm disc in and switch it on. It then somehow injecects the knowledge about a new move into the brain of the Pokémon.

About to start a run of Blue in order to prepare for SM. Do we know for sure that the genwun Pokemon will keep these amazing TM moves? I haven't seen anything official, so I'm worried it will be like gen2 when you couldn't send back mons from GSC who knew moves that weren't allowed in RBY.

Also, we all know fissure Machamp, but what else is a good combo that isn't discussed as much?
