Look, you don't REALLY need perfect IV's to win in competitive. For example, even a mega gengar with max iv's in def/hp can still be one-shoted, what really matters is special attack IVs in this case.
Basically OP, instead of making IV's matter less, gamefreak made it really easy to whip up some 3 or 4 IV pokemon in few minutes, and with a good nature too. If you're too lazy to do that op then why are you even playing competitive?
