I dont mean to dissuade you, im doing the same thing so some extent, im just saying if you wanted to make the components ( battle system, pokemon/move prefab system, ect) to put on the asset store, you can literally ape the pokemon system and file off the serial number so to speak. But like i said before, if you are doing it in unity, there are several tutorials you can use that can be pieced together to make almost any gameplay mechanic even if its not pokemon specific, its not that hard to swap out a ui sprite. And there is the pokemonUnity3d project, while quite out of date can serve as a good base or reference point if you dont know were to begin. Quite frankly if I got CnD'd id frame it. Best advice is to make small bench marks in the start to get mental momentum and alternate between a easy, medium and hard task. For me its mapping/data entry- easy, coding medium, spriteing - hard.
