The online features are a pain in the ass, there's no postgame and no extra shit. Raids get samey as hell after a while.
There's just a downgraded Tower clone.
Give it 2 months at most. I gurantee it'll be half-forgotten. Nobody's gonna say "oh, gen 8 was my favorite", it doesn't do anything better than literally every other Pokemon game, and does quite a few things worse, like the complete lack of anything extra to do. And I personally fi d the dynamax gimmick really fucking stupid but that is subjective.

Of course people are nuts now, it's been 3 days. It's still shiny to them. But nobody's gonna give a fuck once it's all over. The game is bereft of shit to do sans story and raids.
