I don't know what's going on in the series, even I'm surprised by the developments here. But think about this. Ash now has the ability to travel between worlds and parallel dimensions by episode 50. Just think about the kind of episodes we could get from that. It'd be like the mirror world and rotom time travelling episode all at once.
What I see now for the future is a Team Skull/Ultra Recon arc before the series finishes off with a Rainbow Rocket/League arc. I think, if the series winds up ending in 1.5 years that could be the case. We still have a lot we need to cover.

Throw in some filler throughout and we've got ourselves another 50 episodes.

>>34041336There's no way this is the final UB arc. I think Faba is going to fuck up by making Ultra Wormholes start appearing all over Alola. Since Ash and co. are entering the Ultra Dimensions they become triggers for UB's appearing. Remember in the games when you go into Ultra Space a kind of "scent" is left on you which triggers UB's to their locations.
