Things like typing resistance, immunity, abilities that give resistance/immunity to any typings (i.e. Levitate) and/or status (i.e. Soak) can activate True Lunacy, going in this order; typing immunity, typing resistance, abilities with resistance/immunity, type status changes. The Pokémon with True Lunacy takes 1/4 recoil damage for the activation of this ability.
