Ah, yes, my favorite Frenchwoman is back. I really liked Korrina in XY. Dunno if it's because her arc broke up the monotony of the first season, but her Gym battle against Ash was also one of my favorites. Let's ignore that her ace with a mega evolution lost to a Pikachu though. I appreciate that they gave her a cameo in the midst of all of the different Gym leaders they could've put Ash against.
In general though, Journeys has also had some pretty strong CotD/filler episodes. I say this full well knowing that the one shilling Magikarp Jump is after Korrina's cameo.
