>>54897187>Gary Fight>DugtrioIn a shocking twist, we both lead with a Dugtrio, his being a level higher than mine. Dugtrios have actually given me a few scares this run. They're pretty damn good in gen 1. Knowing that his Pokemon have zero stat training though, I'm confident that mine will outspeed his, and one Earthquake does the job.
>GolbatI let El Chip handle Golbat again, and as always, he makes easy work of the job.
>OmastarIt almost feels like he's trying to copy my team now. I decide to bring Pigpatch in, and a Submission does good damage, but then Omastar hits back with a Hydro Pump which leaves Pigpatch with 5 HP. SCARY shit. I switch to Ennard and let the better Omastar win with Submissions.
>Another DugtrioIn another shocking twist, Gary has 2 Dugtrios or 6 Digletts. I decide to let Freddles handle this again with the same strategy as Dugtrio number one.
>Farfetch'dEnnard's twin Blizzards get rid of Farfetch'd easily. Especially because he just spammed Swords Dance.
>TaurosAnd finally, his ace. A Lv.65 Tauros. Bonnie's (pbuh) rival. I decide to let the ever-bulky Purple Guy finish him off with Toxic, Minimize, and Sludge. Tauros rages, but doesn't stand a chance against the child-killing Muk. We stuff Gary in an animatronic and leave Indigo Plateau with another perfect victory.
What a great run. The Gengar massacre at Mt. Moon left me demoralized, but I had a great team the rest of the run, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. I'm gonna enjoy the post-game content with these champs and then move onto Yellow. Will post what Mewtwo ends up being.
