Super's got its own issues but it has much better enemy variety and even the dungeon layouts aren't as bad. Breaks are a big issue, as are the low level dungeons either being laughably easy or cheap bullshit.
Rescue Team's basic but solid all around, without any serious bullshit parts. The remake might have its own fair share of issues, but I feel it fixed the teambuilding problem enough to be well worth playing.
Sky's the best of them, though my perception is admittedly skewed because of Project Orion fixing a bunch of the issues I had. Even without that though it's got a good mix of enemies to fight, items to utilize, IQ skills to toy around with, and great music. Hell, the entire series has great music.
