The model of the world that you have inside your head contains all the connections between people including yourself, and there is simply no evidence that you can prove that a single connection in your model is equal to the connection of another person.
This doesn't stop you from "feeling" like you do. And I didn't even get to the merit that the models of the world are pretty much unique from person to person even to a systemic level.
For example, did you know that there are people who sees months as a circle around the person, and to move in time means to move the circle around you? It's a pretty common sympton of time-space synesthesia.

This inability to understand this to more severe degrees is almost retardation, where the retarded "forms meaningful connections" inside his head, and then gets frustrated when he notices that this connection is one-sided.
