>>22619293Well, what's 100% completion here?
I mean it's not just completing the Pokédex because having a Chingling or whatever won't help you in battles. Is it getting a competitive version of every Pokémon? Well what if there are multiple sets a Pokémon could run? What about different metas, do they all have to be maxed out in potential for singles, doubles, triples, and rotations? And then you get into hunting for shinies, do you need to complete the shiny Dex (as far as it's able to be legally completed)? At what point are you going to say "yeah, this person has played 100% of this game" with Pokémon?
I personally think it's subjective, and that it's a perfectly acceptable answer for someone to think they've played all the game has to offer without spending a ton of hours on bike simulator if they don't like bike simulator.
>Why is it only this one is actively bypassed by players and not the rest? There are times where I've very much wanted to skip over something in a game I didn't like, and if I had the method needed to skip it I probably would've.
Unless the game literally had some Super Guide shit to let you skip it like in the NSMB games, I refuse to take those out of autistic pride. I don't think a bad part of a game should be defended with just "it's there so." Feels like circular logic, except rather than going in a circle you're just standing in one spot.
If you like bike simulator, play bike simulator, I'm not dissing your preferences, and I tend to use a mix of gifted hacked Pokémon and my own bred Pokémon
though if I had a Powersave or Gateway I'd probably exclusively hack just because it's easier, but someone who doesn't feel rewarded by doing that should be allowed to enjoy the game their own way. You can make other arguments about hacking being wrong, but I think a game's value is in the eye of the beholder.
