>>55334670Ayumu's parents realized pretty early on that they had a odd kid, but he didn't cause any trouble and had good grades at school, so they decided to just wait and see, that maybe he just needed to find something he liked. Years pass, and they were quite worried how their son just stayed home all day, and when outside, he would just play in the snow by himself, but one day, he brought home a Snorunt, which he gave the name "Yuki", and they immediately noticed him being more cheerful, which brought relief to their hearts. . . that, until one day, when Ayumu was 13, they got home from work and just found a note on the table reading "Went on a journey" with a drawing of Ayumu and the Snorunt in the bottom. Needless to say, they panicked quite a bit upon reading the note, but "our son is a smart kid" they thought and calmed down, and then became enraged because he left without talking face to face and promised they would give the scolding of his life when he gets back, ultimately settling with a wish to "Yuki" to protect their son and bringing him back home safely.
It took 2 years for him to come back to Snowpoint, but right before reaching the city, the went to roll in the snow to make up for all the time he couldn't, which resulted in a layer of snow coating his entire body. Upon entering the city, people were perplexed, was that an undiscovered humanoid Ice Type Pokémon? Or perhaps a never before seem Ice Move? Whatever it was, made a beeline to the GYM. Inside, the snow figure slid through the GYM, jumping the snowballs that serve as the puzzles, all the way to the Leader, who was terrified and yet intrigued with what was happening (the other GYM staff were just terrified thoever), the figure, now face-to-face with the GYM Leader, wiped the snow off his face, revealing to be Ayumu, back to complete the challenge.
