>>45887811The problem mostly stems from them resetting all of Ash's development he'd accumulated over 10 years and then putting in another Misty in the show to call him out on being shit, not realising the only reason Misty worked was because Ash WAS shit and it was justified by him being an inexperienced trainer.
Now not only is Ash shit again for no reason but we have a character that's pretty much dedicated entirely to rubbing that in.
