The recent stream Gamefreak had about pokemon news had a bunch of Johto pokemon plushies in the background, implying a return to Johto. So now we have a bunch of people jumping on the Johto bandwagon in order to btfo the patternfags.
There isn't any actual conflict between Johto and Sinnoh fans, those games shared a gen afterall, it's just general autism.
