>>34397452I find the biggest difference between 4 and 5 is that 5 went for a more “organic” design with most of the Pokémon. It’s most apparent with the box legendaries - compare Palkia with Zekrom. Both are somewhat robotic looking dragons with a similar body shape, yet Zekrom has a more defined muscle mass and, while Palkia seems to be made of different parts put together, kinda like a car. Palkia is a lot more angular than zekrom’s more human-like composure.
It’s also apparent with the non-legendaries - compare croagunk with palpitoad, empire on with samurott, heatran with heatmor, etc. you’ll see what I’m talking about.
