The other day I went on an amphetamine binge and thought up of a BW remake fangame, same mons and same artstyle (no gen 5+ basically) but I was thinking of a more urban focused game. I think that the whole New York theme was underused (and for obvious reasons such as E rating) and I would like to develop that more. While on the binge I realized that I wanted to make Ghetsis more of a tycoon type character with N being his antithesis, remaking him as some sort of Unabomber character idk.
The story might be a bit edgy ofc, but above all I want to make the game fun, more challenging and stuff. Rebalance some mons and all the good stuff such as whole NatDex available before E4.
I was also thinking of a portrait/comic book type of story exposition (think Pokestar studios but the game is like that, skippable and optional ofc)
So yeah, I'm gonna start this shit as soon as I'm done with my exams, thinking about using Pokemon Essentials or Pokemon Unity, either way do you have any fun ideas for such a game? Any media recommendations I could take inspiration from? (like American Psycho, films that show that whole New York experience)
