Can a fellow /vp/oreon explain this?
Cubone is a Pokemon that wears the skull of its dead mother. And because of this, nobody has seen its face.
So does this mean that every Marowak that breeds ends up dying? And how has no professor ever seen the face or said anything about it, even within NPC chatter when you talk in the game? It's possible that a Cubone could die before evolving, so a professor or researcher could at least take off the skull and look under it.
Or does it weep over Team Rocket's killing? And if that's the case, how does an entire species of Pokemon weep over a single death of an evolution? And wouldn't it have become just another Gastly or some other Ghost type once its spirit was laid to rest? Why is it treated like Marowak is the only Pokemon ever killed? I'm pretty sure there's been plenty of accidents throughout the years.
I know it's mainly a kid's game, but that kind of stuff could be in a diary entry in some library in various regions.
This is probably the only thing I've never figured out about a single Pokemon. Anyone know anything official?
