When i was a kid, me and a bunch of friends used to play Fire Red, Leaf green and Emerald, respectively, i had fire red, my cousin had Leaf green and a girl called Vivian from my class had Emerald.
One day she managed to catch a Latias, and was super excited about it. The thing was, she wasn't too good at powerleveling, and back then levels were all that mattered to us. She asked me if i could level it up a bit for her, and traded it to me. I sat the entire night and ran through the elite 4 in fire red, the next day it was lvl 100. She got super exited and was so thankful.
After some years, i moved away, and we slowly lost contact, which was pretty rough, got depressed for a while. And April of last year she died in an accident, which was the most painful experience of my life, partly because i lost one of my oldest childhood friends, and partly because i had lost her some time before that.
So a few weeks ago, i started SR'ing for a shiny Latias in White 2, and got it about a week ago.
