i spent weeks doing a daily round of slathering nearly every honey tree trying to get one
at one point i decided i would make a spreadsheet to keep track of what pokemon i encountered to see if i could figure out which tree was likely to be a munchlax tree, but then i found out my data was useless due to a quirk in how it determines what set of pokemon to randomly choose from
then i gave up and looked up my munchlax trees on dragonflycave which made it much easier and i eventually got a munchlax
