Whatever Mr. Mime is, you can't say it isn't a highly unique and creative monster.
So what if it's a bit creepy? All clowns/mimes have that undertone to them. The more sinister angle makes it more fun, and frankly Mr. Mime has been a non-stop source of laughter for many over the last 25 years, even if that laughter is often at his expense.
This thing's just really amusing to watch and to talk about.
