>>37996204The only issue I'm thinking with irish elk is how a mammoth Pokemon was handled in the past. Pilowswine requires Ancient Power to evolve into it, implying the species is extremely old, but no so old that it's a fossil. But then Yanma throws a wrench in that because Yanmega is based on a species that predates all dinosaurs. Irish elk have still been extinct for 7000+ years though, so I think it's enough to qualify, and throwing in some fossilised mammals helps vary up the fossil-Poke designs a bit.
On that note, another idea. Giant land sloth. Maybe rock/normal to pair with other sloth designs like Slakoth?
