>>55412483Happy Valentine's Day! Remember to hug your partner.
I wanted to make a romantic drawing/story with my guild OCs, but I've been too busy. Sorry. I'll share other people's partnershipping content to make up for it.
>>55403877Writing good descriptions definitely can be a challenge. As the author, you've got everything envisioned in your head, but the reader knows nothing at all, so you have to figure out how to paint them a picture with your words.
One way is to use sensory details and imagery, and try to convey what the characters see/hear/smell/feel/taste. That way, you can make the reader feel like they're really there, in the character's shoes. Just don't overdo it, or else it can become tedious to read.
Another trick is to use figurative language like simile and metaphor. That can quickly convey a mental image by comparing the scene to something else that the reader can visualize and comprehend. For example, there's this one poem where a flying bird is described like "from the earth thou springest like a cloud of fire", which makes the reader envision a quick burst of color and motion.
And as for describing moves specifically, that should be pretty straightforward. Just imagine what the move would look like and explain how you imagine it. You can even look at how the anime depicts moves, for inspiration. For instance, write something like "I used Brick Break, delivering a quick chop to my opponent's head" instead of simply writing "I used Brick Break".
