Instead of murdering the things you make them run away or you catch/trap them. Thanks to SV there's no problem anymore with Pokemon dropping bodyparts, the only other problem would be depicting people using a big fuckoff hammer to smash a Steelix to shit.
The potentional for sick looking armor is insane. Also, some Pokemon would make for great boss fights I'd imagine. Imagine fighting a rampaging Salamence
