>>49618902Black is a trainer who is obsessed with winning the Pokémon League, and likes to randomly shout this fact at passers-by. He's driven and a bit odd, but quite smart and has great detective skills.
White is the owner of a talent/media agency that hires out Pokémon actors to various media companies. She's responsible and nice and while battling isn't for her, the story eventually leads her to be a good trainer in her own right.
Black damages her filming equipment, so she forces him to essentially become an indentured servant and eventually gets a crush on him. They hope to use his participation in the league as a publicity stunt. Together, they have to fight team Plasma's disingenuous/elitist message about Pokémon liberation, with the duo representing truth and N/Team Plasma allegedly being about the ideal. It's actually quite a decent magna arc.
