This is a level capped, item for item, full series run, so if the npc uses 4 full restores so will I, last time in Emerald I just quit halfway because the one sided item spam made me want to scream.
Really rough early game catching a Metapod rather than a Caterpie and while mindlessly training it to a Butterfree got Rattata and Mankey killed by trash.
Other than that it's been really smooth, no real close calls and getting a Beaches in Mt.Moon was great, it getting Slash at lv17 is really busted. Really not sure on the final team yet, Might want to go with gift pokemon for the hell of it.
