Greninja's ok as far as Smash 4 goes, but if he becomes irrelevant by the next iteration he NEEDS TO GO. Same applies for all non-mascot or Gen rep mons. Mascots are safe from Termination status. Note that this only applies to the pokemon roster. Actual game representation works differently.
