Irregular progress checkup! How's it going, laddies?
I've been a little bit busy the past few days, but I still managed to add the rest of the Pokémon, so I'm finally done on that front. All 263 I wanted for my game are coded in and ready to go.
I also made some slight adjustments to the Engine, improved some bits of the story, and will now tackle the thing I've neglected the most: Battle Animations. I'll have tons of fun in the upcoming month.
>>48521302Maybe I wasn't clear, the way it's in the engine now won't carry over to the game. I was just having fun testing and developing stuff. I still have plans to add a contest like this later.
>>48521304>Holy shit, nice! Where did you get the sprites for that?Floressum's sprite is from Sage's 2015 demo, and I made the Faunazon sprite myself.
>>48523432>>48526768Good stuff, lad. Keep up the good work. Would train the little frog.
>>48528906Mainly Water-type Pokémon that live in the lake, and Pokémon from the desert around it to drink from the lake.
>>48537791Kinda agree on that one. Sometimes I feel like Fangame/Romhack creators want to force the "correct way of playing", which is usually just their own way of playing, onto every player. There's no reason to limit the player's freedom in such ways. If a player wants to only level their starter and blitz through the game, let them, and if a player wants to have a balanced and/or underleveled team, let them.
Don't get me started when Gym Leaders require breeding or EV'd out Pokémon. If I wanted to play competitive, I'd just play Showdown, man. kek
