Lorelei jumps us, we end up in a cave(?), and we get the worst cutscene left because Yellow doesn't disappear until after she walks a step. If you talk to Agatha the game freezes.
After leaving the room there, there are inexplicably trainers that want to battle while the cave is coming down.
There's also a Nidoran that freezes the game if I talk to it.
I leave the cave, get on Doduo (that can't actually run so I'm slower), and go through what is, after Jagold, a piss-poor attempt at a maze. The map is breaking graphically as I run through it; it feels like Yellow isn't running from Lorelei but rather from the game to keep it from crashing on top of her.
Eventually Lorelei teleports in front of us and freezes our feet. Yellow asks Ratty to help, and Ratty cuts out the ice without moving an inch and we escape. Now I'm in Bill's house.
Also, the trainers have hi-larious names like "Fat Kid" whose flavour text tells me he wants a donout.
