>>53690040I could be wrong, but I thought the reason Ash gave Goh his bed in the Pikachu runaway episode was because it's customary in Japan to give the guest the bed and the host takes the couch/floor/etc... Although we didn't see it, that one time Goh's parents invited Ash for dinner/to stay the night, I assume Goh gave Ash his bed and he slept on the floor.
I still headcanon they've slept in the same bed and
cuddled.
