Now to disregard that, here's some tips:
Dont discount Bug types this time around, pretty much all the Unova Bug types are good to great.
Try to not fill your team up too early either, as theres a lot of good pokemon that dont show up until late in the game.
Consider boxing your starter; I actually like Serperior a lot personally, but mechanically they're all pretty underwhelming.
