>>11886071Splash Plate – Owned by an empoleon, a dethroned king and tentative ally of Vespiquen. He and his small band of followers generally keep out of conflict, though he’ll occasionally send an envoy to the Arden Forest if it seems necessary. Empoleon and co. make their home near Marwood Lake, a large lake just north of the forest.
Surskit – The official messenger between the Insect and Splash kingdoms. She’s a timid young thing, but she does her job quickly and efficiently. She doesn’t really like Vespiquen but knows better than to tell the Queen off; anyway, she’s too passive-aggressive to cause any sort of confrontation.
Empoleon – A young nobleman from an icy land in the far north. He was originally from a kingdom populated by water-types alone, but after he was exiled he took the Splash Plate – a family heirloom – and immigrated to the further south. On the outside he acts very noble and calm, but in reality he’s a bit of a coward. He’ll get his underlings to deal with battles if his pride is hurt, but usually just avoids conflict altogether.
