My first Pokemon game was Yellow, and I got the elite four and I ended up losing interest for a while. I also replayed my Red version a few times, but every time I get to around the ghost Marowak subplot and get bored and stop playing or start a new game. I didn't beat a Pokemon game until Crystal version.
