I finally took my time to retouch him.
I ended up coming with the name of Eugene (nickname Gene) Cromwell. His backstory is Basically similar to what was happening with James in the anime. Dude that is from a noble family but doesn't want to deal with all that, but his parents are actually Ok with him travelling because that will help him mature or prepare himself if he actually wants to keep up with that whole thing.
Besides that, he doesn't really have a plot going on, you could consider him the typical random NPC you come across that is a bit more developed, may make you a request, tag along around an area, or you may come across him more than once.
