Couldn't even finish off the second Elite's final pokémon, a shamefur dispray no matter what angle you view it at. Lost half my team to shenanigans against Marshall, at which point I was left with just my Sawsbuck and the two shitters of the party. At least Liepard was fast enough to get a hit off before it kicked the bucket, Banette didn't accomplish anything. Only a crit against Drifblim would have saved Roadkill, but the dice weren't on my side.
Looking up the champion's team now, I doubt I would have ever won anyway. Reasons why this run failed:
>Blindwhen you have no idea what to expect coming up, it's kind of natural to be bleed through pokémon, not at this rate though
>No Dupes ClauseSo many potential pokémon missed because I was unlucky enough to run into another Liepard/Banette/Frillish/Amoonguss. I was kicking myself for not using a repel in Victory Road, all the encounters are specific to different rooms so you can basically decide what type you want your encounter to be. This won't convince me to start avoiding dupes though, that rule always felt cheap to me.
>No OptionsA result of the latter two reasons, by the end of the game it was simply impossible to put a cohesive team together for the E4. The party I ended up with was a coverage disaster.
>muh critsThe first dozen or so deaths were entirely my fault, but from then on there was just so much bullshit. I don't want to whine but god damn
real niggas got the champ badges
