Post Indigo Plateau, we're the champs! But at a huge cost.
I thought this run was gonna be pretty breezy, but damn, was I mistaken.
>Will
Most of this fight was pretty easy, pivoting around Ariana and Ozzy depending on the Pokemon. But then Will's Slowbro one-shot Ariana, all 197 HP of her. It came as a massive shock to lose her right then. Ozzy handled the rest of the fight. RIP Ariana, you were an important lynchpin to the team.
>Koga
This fight went pretty smooth, Lynyrd handled Ariados, Ozzy handled Forretress, and then Joan handled Muk, Crobat, and Venomoth in sequence. Some low HP scares, but still pretty easy.
>Bruno
Oh man, this fight went poorly. Everything was smooth at first, Hitmontop and Hitmonchan were easily disposed of by Lynyrd, and Onix was beaten by Elton, but then came in Machamp. I was hoping that Lynyrd could take it out with two Fly's, but it got one-shot by Rock Slide. I was hoping then that Outkast could quickly take it out by Thundering; they missed, getting one-shot by Machamp. Elton finished it off and took care of Hitmonlee. Two fights left, three Pokemon still standing. RIP Elton; outside of Elton, you're our oldest partner, and you'll be missed. RIP Outkast, you were only on our team for a short time and uh... you didn't do anything, but your sacrifice will be honored.
>Karen
This fight was the easiest. Elton made easy work of Umbreon and Houndoom, and Ozzy wiped the floor with Vileplume, Gengar, and Murkrow. Lance up next, and I was worried for this one.
>Lance
Joan barely took out Gyarados with two Rock Slides, and then in comes Aerodactyl. I worried a lot about swapping in Elton, because I knew it couldn't die, or we lose the fight. So I had Joan stay in, and sacrificed her to the beast. RIP Joan, you did your job until the end. Elton was then able to sweep the rest of Lance's Dragonites with Ice Punch, with one close call, but he still wiped the floor with the Dragon Tamer.
And now we're down with the Indigo League.
