>>40808292>>Are you okay with the dex cut?No, everyone should get their favorites in.
>>How many hours do you typically put into a Pokemon game?Depends, I remember clocking in like 300+ hours into HGSS just because of everything you could do in the game.
>>Do you play postgame content?Why wouldn't I?
>>Do you play online?Yes.
>>Do you catch everything, most things, or just your in-game party Please mods don't bully anyone this is for science.I try to. Mostly because I want to shiny hunt.
>>Do you plan on buying or playing Sword and Shield?Fuck no, why would I play this game when I just know I'm going to be dissatisfied with it. Ever since Pokemon Stadium I've always, ALWAYS wanted a mainline Pokemon game with as much charm as the stadium games. XY was the series' first main jump into 3D and I'm super lenient on it because of that. I never liked Hoenn to begin with but I was willing to push myself to play it for the Battle Frontier alone, and what was replaced instead was a half-assed 40 minute long special episode postgame with only 10 minutes of actual gameplay that mostly consisted of you flying from town to town. Finally we have SM, which was way too cutscene heavy with barely anything to explore along the way, one of the first games in the series where I completely dropped on it's head after getting to the Battle Tree, because I knew it was just gonna be another Battle Tower clone.
Didn't buy USUM, the first time I didn't buy a third version from the game series.
Didn't buy LGPE because I have no interest in playing a casualized version of RB. If I want to revisit Kanto, I'll play FRLG.
I know that if I go into SwSh, I'm going to be heavily disappointed in it just like how I was with everything else I've played from GameFreak recently. I'd rather spend my 60$ on something I know I'll enjoy, like Rune Factory 4 or Atelier Ryza.
