I was originally going to fly to New York for GO Fest on Saturday, but I've decided to stay home and attend my friend's once-in-a-lifetime party. I can mitigate the flight costs and/or transfer the credit to something else, but I'm still really bummed that I won't get access to any of the stuff that New York had to offer. Do you think I would still get anything out of just buying the ticket that I've already bought even if I'm not in the area (access to Mega Fug energy, special research, timed research, bonuses from the egg and raid add-ons, etc.)? Does anyone know if people that cancelled going to Osaka or London were able to get anything from home?
Even if I did wanna spoof, which I don't, I'll probably spend most of the day at his house anyway.
