>>33524517Pre-designed rooms are boring. The generator should just allow for a wider variety of features. Why not have more non-rectangle rooms? Or weak walls that can be broken by attacking them? Or glass that you can see through, but not move through? I'm sure there are ways to make more interesting levels than to just design them by hand. It's no fun if I can just memorize the levels.
I'd like to see enemies do more than just attack. Like how Braixen will wave wands at you, or how Ditto pretend to be items. That adds a lot more character to the dungeon compared to enemies that just deal damage.
