The Kanto starters have always been in my top mons, I prefer some evo stages over others but there’s nothing bad about them. It’s usually the mons after the starters that really shift up a bit, but I know I tend to like the dragon and dino-like mons like Dragonite and Rhydon more than other kinds of designs.
