"That Noivern is fast. Like, REALLY fast, in fact, according to the waifu encyclopedia, her base speed stat is only /one/ point higher than yours. I'm not so sure I want you to play tiebreaker with her, you'll have to slow her down!"
He flashes you a thumbs up while adjusting his tongue scarf, "Jaaaaa!"
"Alright, first things first then: Slowing her down! Use Rock Tomb!"
"Wild Charge!~"
Before Greninja can finish assembling his boulder arsenal for Rock Tomb, he sees Noivern zoom in with Wild Charge. Letting out a croaking yelp, he sidesteps and just narrowly dodges the attack. Noivern misses, but isn't finished, she turns around, wraps herself in electricity once more, and charges again in a frenzied attempt to fry and ram the frog down.
"G-Gren, ja ja, gekkou ja!"
You're right, she is fast. Even a single point can make a world of difference in a meta ridden with speed. Greninja dodges the second Wild Charge, and uses the opportunity in-between that and the third to lob boulders at her.
"JAAAA!"
It hits its mark. Noivern is struck right in the face, and sputters out in the air in slight disorientation before regaining control again. Not too shabby for Greninja's first attack, and now you can guarantee that he'll be going first from now on.
