You look down at your Sylveon, who looks back up at you with an innocent expression in his bright blue eyes. “Sylve?” He seems to ask, pitching his already higher-pitched voice up a notch, and opening his eyes even wider. Is he trying to use baby-doll eyes on you? Again? Why?
“You aren’t in trouble, I’m just wondering why you dragged me out here.” You’ve known this Sylveon since he was an Eevee, and as such you’ve put a lot of trust into him. Such trust is required when on a Pokemon journey. You remember when you would cradle the troubled Eevee to sleep. Now, whenever it is time to sleep, he wraps you in his ribbons and soothes you with a calming aura, which you have to admit, does really help you sleep. It was awkward at first, cuddling next to a Sylveon, but now it doesn’t phase you at all.
As he looks up at you, the Sylveon grabs your hand with one of his ribbons. He often does this if he wants to communicate something, as the ribbons don’t just allow him to feel your emotions, but also can pass some of his feelings to you. Although you aren’t quite sure what feeling he is trying to pass to you right now, it feels almost like… like...
You feel your cheeks redden as you at last interpret the alien feeling being shared by your Sylveon for what it is. “Syl, what, you, I…” Words fail you. How do you express that you aren’t into Pokemon that way, much less males? Then, you feel something else come over the ribbons, it is like a blast of emotion. It is as if suddenly you are seeing Slyveon in a new light, all the cuteness and charm becoming something more, standing out to your senses. You recall a saying you saw online before, one you never took seriously up until now: “It isn’t gay if its a Sylveon. He is just that good.” Suddenly, you find yourself wondering if there is any truth to the saying. Wait… did this Pokemon just use Cute Charm on you?
And did it somehow WORK?
