She's got a powerful kick, and her boots being steel toed certainly helps with that, but she can't really get more than one kick in. Most people would beat her in a 1v1, at least if it's just her defending herself. Bring a specific other into the equation and you've got a formidable opponent.

Take the huggable Spheal in the linked image, named Tubs. He's got a Dewgong mother which makes his fur a lighter color, and his flippers are proportionally small due to his increasing size and them just not growing with him. He's already at evo level, but the fat bastard ate the Everstone Cerise found while on an mining expedition. So basically, he just keeps getting bigger and fatter as he levels up instead of actually evolving. He will be round boi forever.
