>>48926001Got some nice additions to the team, like Vikavolt, who now is effectively a pseudolegendary by virtue of its massively improved speed, and Togedemaru and Toxapex with their nice bags of tricks. Also, Lycanroc-Midnight, the Lycanroc I'm using, is surprisingly good in this - now Rock/Dark type with some better stats and moves like Cross Chop to take advantage of No Guard.
>Weather Institute ShellyAnother fairly difficult admin fight. Her team - Alolan Ninetales, Empoleon, Crawdaunt, Clefable, Ludicolo, Mega Beedrill. Sadly, I can't get Slush Rush on Sandslash here. Instead, Palossand removes the hail her Ninetales sets then I swap to Sandslash to kill it, then swap to Araquanid on her Clefable's Flamethrower to kill that. Crawdaunt was a bit scary - but Togedemaru ate Crunch well and responded with an Electric Gem Zing Zap for a clean OHKO. Then she sent in Mega Beedrill.
I started off by pivoting to Palossand whose Ground Gem Earth Power did a LOT less than I thought it would've. She actually then swaps to Ludicolo, so I go to Toxapex to poison and Venom Drench it to try and bait in Empoleon on a switch to Vikavolt from me. Didn't work, but she sent Mega Beedrill back in so I swapped from Sandslash to Vikavolt on Poison Jab/Drill Run to let it die of sand, weather is infinite in this hack. Empoleon then died to an Electric Gem Thunderbolt from Vikavolt, and Ludicolo to Bug Buzz.
Kinda not a fan of the level bloat, but I guess if you were to play the game normally it wouldn't be an issue.
>>48936819Congrats anon, RIP Bunnie. I'm happy Marinette made it all the way to the end, lol
>>48935492And congrats to you too anon! Emerald's a tough game, it's no small feat. Glad Magellan, Joan Arc and Harris made out alright, at least

It's really just a matter of playing it as safe as you can, in general you don't want to be cheeky if you don't need to be. Hope you get better luck in trying to conquer White this time.
