I enjoyed Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity almost solely for the story. The first time Pokemon has ever given a decent story! It's no masterpiece, but I'll fucking take it, and while the game was only a bit more than mediocre, it finally fulfilled my childhood dream of Pokemon getting a story it long deserved.
No, Explorers did not have a good story: fuck that parasite of a partner, fuck the Wigglytuff Guild, fuck the obvious plot twists (if you did not see Dusknoir turning on you, please check yourself at the local Learning Support Department) and if you really think that Rescue Team had a good story, please try to indulge yourself in tales outside the Pokemon franchise. I seriously recommend it.
