>characters overall are much better done than any prior generation >the idea of regional variations is great and should be retained to a lesser degree from now on>ultra beasts are interesting and should be expanded upon in the future>exploring alternatives to the 8 gyms system was a great way to mix things up and in future gens they should expand that to have multiple paths to an endgame>character customization is consistently improving >ride Pokémon is a great mechanic, I hated wasting space in my party for an HM slut so I appreciate the extra party slot>URS didn't really do shit but I liked the concept, if not the executionThe Negatives:
>seasons still aren't back, they need to be brought back>mega evolution should be retained for the main story and expanded upon instead of being buried in post game>national pokedex>while I don't care about skip-able cut scenes it seems to be a big issue for many people and should be implemented >post game is still lacking>Rotom Dex is annoying as fuck>not enough waifus, never enough waifus
