The problem is you can't since Alolan Forms are Kanto only and they didn't faithfully recreate entire areas from other regions like they did Kanto.
A "reference" is something like pic related where it's a cute nod to a past event, the stuff in my earlier posts is going "HEY REMEMBER KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO?" and it's all over the game. I don't hate Kanto and I don't hate references, but Gen 7's was far too much.
