The Anime was hype shit. The games were hype shit where you'd fight kids on the bus if you both had a cable. The cards were tradeable and you were the coolest kid if you had a foil Charizard. It was a spectacle to behold.
Now, I just lose myself in fanfiction and Pimpnite battles. No need to get hyped for a game I can't afford.
