"pay to win" isn't applicable here because there's no single, or combination of pokemon that guarantee's you a "win". Making a team is easy and you can always trade if you don't have a mon. These are suppose to be "pro" players yet they don't want to invest time or money in the games. Compare to someone who plays in the FGC, who has to spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours doing the same thing over and over, makes VGC players look really bad. Genning will never be legal, and I assume it's going to be even harder in the future to not get caught if TPC is serious. Either Gen properly or play the games. You really have no excuse.
