OP here, bumping the fuck out of my thread but oh well, so yeah I can't believe there isn't a single playable (or apparently even support) Rock type in this game, so here are a couple of ideas. Lycanroc-midnight and Rhydon/Rhyperior feel like the obvious choices here but perhaps so is Diancie but what the hell:

I think to set Diancie apart from Gardevoir it should be a bit more of tanky attacker so probably Power. Since she doesn't even have legs and would float I guess she would be similar to fliers in other games like Storm and Dr. Strange in MVC and also I can see some elements of Kitana from MK and Rose from SF. Her style would be focused on boosting her defense and zoning the opponent using moves like Stone Edge and Rock tomb which could also trap the opponent so she can land Diamond Storm and Moonblast on them.

Diamond Heart: Diancie forms a massive massive MASSIVE diamond around the enemy, trapping them in midair. It then manifests an energy sword made of diamonds and proceeds to carve the huge diamond into the shape of a heart, before striking at its centre, shattering the diamond into shards that turn into a huge arrow that strikes the opponent back down to the ground, whilst Diancie floats serenely back down to the floor.
