I can't change my buddies ability to Protean.
My plan is to breed a Prot-eon for when Pokebank comes out, replace my starter with him and put him through the hoops of a special nuzlocke challenge. If he succeeds in his quest, he will take over as my right hand mon. If not- well I don't know, I guess it wasn't meant to be?
